ABOUT LOGIC MADE ACCESSIBLE INC
Logic Made Accessible Inc was founded by researchers and professors at Columbia University in 2020. Our goal is to make philosophy and logic readily available for those who otherwise would never have any exposure to it. We are committed to the proposition that philosophy and philosophical logics should be practiced and enjoyed in the public square, rather than simply in top-caliber schools/universities and student groups of particular backgrounds and ages. Logic Made Accessible is operated by some of the best and brightest students of philosophy, mathematics, and education, who have a deep passion for these topics and hope others might share in it.
At the heart of Logic Made Accessible is our Aristotelian Logic Curriculum, which is offered in a number of teaching modalities. It is a free online course with:
It can be applied to a number of fields, including (but not limited to) the hard sciences, law, philosophy, linguistics, mathematics, classics, and so many more. We therefore believe in not only learning logic for the clarification of one’s thinking, but also as a gateway into countless other fields and occupations.
Our team has perfected the Aristotelian Logic Curriculum after almost two years of development. Several top-caliber undergraduate philosophy students, graduate mentors, and leading professors have contributed to its development, from designing and writing to editing and piloting. The result is a curriculum that is no less rich in its logical and philosophical content and yet is accessible to all.
